About

In 2013 I graduated from The Art Academy in London before moving to Bath in Southwest England. Initially I painted representationally in oils but after several years I decided that my interest lay more with colourful, expressive abstracts, florals and still lifes. I switched to acrylics, incorporating mixed media and collage, and discovered a love for mark-making, layering, texture and bold colours.

In 2024 I completed the ground-breaking Art2Life Creative Visionary Program with Nicholas Wilton, a truly inspiring and gifted teacher. My work now follows a more intuitive process, letting the painting evolve as I put down layers, shapes and marks. I react to these, editing and adding using a wide variety of materials and mark-making tools - anything from screwdrivers to cookie cutters!

I am inspired by the colourful and quirky things in life and approach painting with a sense of playfulness and joy which I hope transfers to those who see my art.
